About me: Francesca Gammicchia, founder of Talento Umano.

I call it the virtuous cycle of talent, and every day I work to help people turn their talents into their profession so that, together, we can build a better country.
Do you think this is a utopia or overly ambitious? I view it more as a dream—something that, with passion and planning, can actually be achieved. After all, every great change in history began with a single small step and the vision of someone initially labeled as "crazy" or "too ambitious."
My mission is to fulfill this dream one human being at a time, one sole proprietorship at a time, one SME at a time.
This is why I evolved from a regular employee into a TransformAction Coach for ambitious, hard-core dreamers who want to grow, and why I built Talento Umano.
Talento Umano programs are designed for the business world, aiming to introduce best practices and behaviors in the workplace that make reaching corporate goals easier.
Learning how to speak in public, overcoming the fear of it, presenting proposals more effectively, and negotiating are, for instance, among the first talents you will acquire and master.
Personal sustainability: To perform any activity excellently, it must be enjoyable and sustainable for the person doing it. That is why all my courses and programs use a learning-by-doing approach, taking into account your preferred learning style and your stress levels. I am always open to adjusting days and times based on your needs, because what matters most to me is that when we are together, you are in the best possible state of focus and clarity.
Environmental sustainability: In my work as in my private life, I constantly seek out processes and solutions that minimize environmental impact (for example: replacing paper forms with Google Forms, using the back of printed pages for notes, swapping plastic bottles for a water flask, using citric acid instead of fabric softener, etc.).
Financial sustainability: I practice a respectful use of your resources (time, money, energy). Specifically:
I meet you halfway by offering flexible payment options, and I allow you to deduct the cost of the initial discovery session from your first purchase;
The initial discovery session is already an in-depth strategic consultation, because YOU are giving me your time and I refuse to waste it;
I break every transformation journey down into phases so that, at the end of each stage, we can review the timeline and the pacing of our sessions.
My clients today are small business owners and freelancers looking for evolution so they can leave something tangible for their children and their community. Pro bono, I also help young people looking for work and older individuals seeking retraining. What we have in common is the desire to grow, a passion for well-done work, and the drive to push the limits of what is possible just a little bit further.
I believe there is a big difference between dreams and utopias. Utopias stay far away and unattainable right where they are, while dreams can be achieved through taking responsibility, commitment, planning, determination, and—last but not least—a sense of enjoyment.
Let me explain better: many consultants tend to focus on tasks to be done, many motivators will tell you that you just have to believe in it, and others that you just need to do something you enjoy to succeed. I sit at the crossroads of these approaches, and I am here because I have lived through it myself. Talent alone is not enough, but neither is blind and hard training enough to be happy and fulfilled.
Working with communication and leadership today has multiple applications; I particularly love:
And what about you? Are you looking for growth and improvement? Do you believe that the quality of the workplace and of relationships positions a company at a higher market level? Are you aware that communicating empathetically and assertively, public speaking, negotiating, and thinking strategically are fundamental qualities in today's world—both at home and at work—and are you looking for a way to acquire and practice them?
"I love taking relational processes apart and putting them back together, and making a person's talents visible so they can leverage them in their profession and, consequently, in their personal life as well.
In the meantime, every time, I hope that behind this question there isn't an inner child that is too dormant. The answer is simple:
If you are a visionary leader who cannot make yourself understood by the market, your problem is not very different from that of a young person fighting to make their value understood and to achieve their dreams. In both cases, you will find an ally in me because I cannot stand seeing ideas and talents wasted, and therefore I love helping people achieve a goal that seems impossible today. I can provide you with the tools to:
become more assertive to negotiate better;
Why Trust Me?
"Francesca brings out the best in you, even the talents you didn't know you had."
"Competent, reliable, and fun! A German with Sicilian blood."
What lies behind these feedbacks?
Undoubtedly, I like things done well. Therefore, even though I am a soft skills professional—a field inherently prone to scattering—I carved out a specific market focus: I deal exclusively with the world of work and business, specifically focusing on transforming scenarios.
So, for example, when I say I train you to negotiate better, I am not referring to family disputes destined for a courtroom, nor do I coach high-level negotiators on how to do better. Instead, I teach a method to those who have always negotiated without real know-how, training them to make this new habit their own and sustain it until they can walk on their own two feet.
I am creative, but before offering new services on the market, I follow a testing process. This guarantees that I don't waste time, money, and energy on something nobody needs, and ensures the client gets access to a tested, proven service.
Effective communication has fascinated me for as long as I can remember. Since 2013, I have specifically focused on effective communication in public and interpersonal relationships. Only after 5 years—starting in 2018—following a wealth of positive feedback, did I launch my own business. I created my own models and structured my activity as a freelancer, taking on the responsibility of opening a VAT number and everything that defining oneself as a professional entails.
I have direct, hands-on field experience and I speak to you about what I have touched with my own hands. Previously, I worked in family-owned businesses and for 6 years in a multinational corporation, so I know very well the internal dynamics and tensions that can develop in these environments. I understand both the manager's and the employee's perspective, and I put my knowledge and the results of those who came before you at your disposal, without recycling random material or inventing case studies set on Pluto.
My coaching sessions are neither improvised nor scattered; I follow a method consisting of brief strategic dialogue and many guided exercises.
I didn't just wake up and decide to be a teacher! I know how to run a classroom with specific attention to those present because I have studied how adults and children learn, and I am guided by 2 special mentors: a teacher with 50+ years of classroom experience and a psychologist.
I keep myself in continuous training: since 2013, I have been attending Toastmasters International, the public speaking and team leadership "gym" founded in 1924 in the United States!
Within this non-profit association, I have held practically every leadership and support role (IT Support, Logistics Manager, Guest Reception Manager, Quality Manager, Treasurer, Club Vice President of Education, Vice President, Division Director); in addition to founding the Pisa club and being a founding member of the first exclusively online club in Italy.
My mission—turning talents into fruit—is not empty talk. In fact, I help people with severe workplace difficulties retrain on a pro-bono basis, and I also collaborate pro-bono with TEDxCoriano and TEDxSpoleto as a Speaker Coach and Coaching Program Coordinator. I have also served as a mentor and director for an incubator for entrepreneurs: the PerEvolvere in Rete incubator in Rimini, as well as a volunteer for the Resilienza Territoriale association, whose values are action, support, collaboration, and mentoring.
I collaborated for 2 years as an external HR consultant with Aronne Group, a company whose values are acceleration and trust. Indeed, I won't waste your time, and my goal is to make you autonomous.
"Saying no is peace, saying yes is war"—meaning I am transparent in telling you what I can and cannot do to help you reach your goals. This is both a matter of obvious professional integrity and because delivering a service I am not well-qualified for would lower both my profit margin and my effectiveness.
Values matter to me; I have said "no" and will say "no" to economically tempting proposals that are not ethically and humanly sustainable for me.
If I make a commitment to you, I will see it through to the end, even if a bigger client comes along. Similarly, if I tell you I will do something for you, I will do it—even if it means sacrificing a night of sleep.
